During the Spiritual Maturity Seminar we’ll share with you four habits that will turn your spiritual life around. First, a growing Christian needs to spend time daily with God. Through this seminar, you’ll learn some easy steps to make that time with God a powerful part of your day. We’ll also give you some helpful tips on overcoming some of the largest obstacles you’ll face as you try to become consistent in your quiet time.

Second, every growing Christian needs to talk with God. Prayer doesn’t have to be intimidating. God desires conversation with you. He is much more interested in you showing up with an open heart than critiquing your prayers. But, just to get you into the habit, we’ll share with you a pattern for prayer taken right out of the life of Jesus.

Next, God wants us to learn how to give. Few things give a more piercing look into our spiritual lives than how we choose to give. The Bible teaches us that where we choose to keep our possessions shows where our priorities are.

Finally, we need to meet together with other Christians regularly. Here at Cherokee Hills we offer three major opportunities for you to gather with other Christians. First, there’s large group worship at the weekend services. Second, we have Midweek Small Group opportunities where you can meet with other believers in a deeper, more personal way. Third, we have our Bible Fellowship classes / Sunday School, which is designed for people who wish to develop their relationship with Christ through more in-depth Bible teaching and discussion.

  This is a one-time Sunday seminar that lasts 2 hours, beginning at 5:00 and lasting until 7:00pm.
• Q: What are the on-going benefits of this CLASS?
  The purpose of this class is to help you grow spiritually.  Therefore, for those who choose to receive on-going spiritual encouragement, we have a Discipling Partner program, in which we will link you up with a maturing Christian for an entire year.  His/her purpose will be to encourage you and hold you accountable to the commitments you made during the seminar.  We will also provide you with spiritual growth materials four times throughout the year.
• Q: How often is this seminar offered?
  The Spiritual Maturity Seminar is offered as announced, and it is suggested that it be preceded by the Connection Seminar.
• Q: Is child-care available during the seminar?
  Yes, there is a nursery for preschoolers and children’s programs for school-aged children through 5th grade available.
