Men

Men’s Ministry:

In Proverbs there is a scripture that says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”  Iron Men’s Ministry is devoted to challenging each other in group settings, men’s activities such as wild beast feast, golf scrambles, and other man stuff. Our goal is to encourage men to get connected to others, in order to be the best we were created to be. We do this every Tuesday morning at 6:00 a.m.(Men's Fraternity, Winning at Work and Home) and on Saturday mornings at 8:15 a.m. and quarterly at men's events.

SATURDAY....Men's bible study, room 150 (office entry) 8:15am

TUESDAY MORNINGS...6:30a.m. - Steve Farrar's "Finishing Strong"  meets in the Fellowship Hall (park on the east side of the building and enter side doors).

SUNDAY MORNING...Choice of Men's Fraternity:  Quest for Authentic Manhood - -- Worship center OR Coed Adult Bible Fellowships, 9:30am

Men's Fraternity was designed to help men come together and strengthen each other through weekly sessions that combine biblical teaching and small group interaction.  These time-tested resources have been used all over the world to equip men to make their pursuit of noble manhood a lifelong priority.   Men's Fraternity is a series of three, one-year curriculum options that build to help a man develop a compelling vision of masculinity that will bless both his life and the lives of those around him.

We are offering two options for Men's Fraternity:

#1  - The Quest for Authentic Manhood   (Sundays at 9:30a.m.) ~  This 24-session study focuses on a man's core identity and gives an overview of basic manhood issues. It will help men deal with various identity issues by looking back at past wounds and other things that may have distorted their idea of biblical masculinity. Throughout the course of the study, men will learn how to clearly define manhood and will finally be able to give a succinct and passionate answer to the questions, "What is a man?" and "What am I living to be?"

#2  -  Winning at Work and Home  (Tuesdays at 6:00 a.m.)  ~  a 16-session study, focuses on the two areas that are central to a man's life: career and family. It will begin to build the walls of manhood through study dealing with a man's chief responsibilities. It explores how a man can enjoy and engage his work and how he can relate to a woman in a whole new way.
