“THE HILLS” FINE ARTS ACADEMY

The Fine Arts Academy is a ministry of Cherokee Hills Baptist Church. It functions under the umbrella of the Music Ministry and serves the church and community by:
? Providing excellent training in the fine arts.
? Assisting in meeting student’s spiritual needs.
? Developing future church music leaders.
? Acting as an outreach platform for Cherokee Hills Baptist Church.

It is our desire to provide the best in fine arts instruction. We are dedicated to creating an atmosphere where students can learn fine arts, grow spiritually and use their talents to glorify our Creator.

Private study is offered in piano, voice, violin and viola. It is our hope to secure instructors so that we may offer guitar and percussion. The lessons are offered on a weekly basis in 30 minute blocks for beginners and 60 minute blocks for advanced students.

To begin the enrollment process, students must complete a registration form and pay a $10 nonrefundable registration fee on or before August 23, 2008. When a student is enrolled he/she is committing to an entire semester of study. The semester is a 12 week course of study beginning the week of September 8, 2008 and ending the week of December 1, 2008. The semester will be capped off with a recital tentatively scheduled for December 7, 2008.

Tuition covers all lessons, administrative expenses, salaries and recital expenses. Lesson books are not covered by tuition. Tuition for 30 minute lessons is $240 and for 60 minute lessons is $420. The tuition can be paid in full at the beginning of the semester or divided into three payments. A payment schedule will be provided at a later date.
